SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and attributes:

  • Hands-on technical and design experience with Identity & Messaging management platforms. Including but not limited to; Microsoft 0365 and Azure environments, Intune (MDM), SharePoint, Teams, Exchange (On Premises and Online),
  • Certificate management, PowerShell, Access management and authentication.
  • Third-line engineering background, ability to troubleshoot deep technical issues.
  • Good understanding of MS 0365 Products, Licensing and Azure AD
  • Good understanding of O365, Active Directory, Azure AD Connect and Azure AD
  • Experience in implementing and monitoring security policies, controls and compliance for cloud environments.
  • Ability to articulate technical scenarios and solutions into non-technical language.
  • Team player, operational background, with a strong emphasis on providing a quality service
  • Experience of transitioning an infrastructure system from hosted to hybrid hosted / cloud.
  • Highly skilled at analytical and problem solving
  • Has an understanding of ITIL and other business and IT methodologies.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to influence and motivate others in the achievement of goals.
  • Has the ability to make sound decisions based on a combination of analysis, experience, judgement and intuition.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud security frameworks, standards and regulations, such as NIST, ISO, CSA, GDPR and HIPAA

Responsibilities:

ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing /L3 support across the breadth of services that Identity & Messaging operationally manage. Including but not limited to; Microsoft O365 and Azure environments, , Intune (MDM), SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Power Platform, Certificate management, PowerShell, Access management and authentication.
  • To ensure that the Identity & Messaging team provides quality, secure and reliable IT services to the business and clients.
  • To make recommendations to the Manager of Identity & Messaging - regarding items necessary to maintain or enhance current service standards.
  • To develop and deliver a robust and effective technical platform which aligns to business strategy and IT architecture roadmap.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that the performance and availability of IT platforms fully support the needs of the business , its clients and are kept in line with changes in technology.
  • Ensure that all Identity & Messaging systems services are monitored and maintained to high levels of quality, as defined within negotiated and agreed service level agreements, parameters or contracts, and in accordance with industry standard best practice.
  • Ensure all services are configured to meet service level agreements and designed to meet disaster recovery and cyber threat principles
  • Take a proactive approach in identifying future trends and issues and assist in the development of new or amended services accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other internal IT teams to enhance overall experience of services.
  • Develop relationships with 3rd party providers
  • Continue to evolve current services, striving for excellence and driving efficiency
