About the role
We’re seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our construction team on the M7 M12 Interchange project, shaping Sydney’s Infrastructure.
As our Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal part of the team, responsible for supporting Area Managers in maintaining exceptional quality throughout the construction of our EDC, M7-M12 interchange, and M7 widening projects. Your expertise will ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of excellence.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Ensure monitoring of D&C Contractors quality system – specifically ITPs, quality records and work-lot closure
- Monitor D&C Contractor activities and identify areas of risk to the relevant Area Manager to ensure that the issues are closed out in a timely manner
- Oversee management of RFI/NCR’s and ensure timely closure
- Manage provision of quality records in preparation for achieving project completion milestones
- Monitor progress and report to project team
- Be active participant in understanding contract quality requirements and the administration of the Project Agreement and D&C Contract
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

Great communication and interpersonal skills – ability to negotiate and influence outcomes
- Proven experience in a Senior Quality Engineer, Project Engineer or equivalent level on complex construction or engineering projects
- Tertiary qualified, preferably in Civil Engineering or extensive background and skills deemed suitable to the position.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage to manage stakeholder relationships including understanding of Client and/or Independent Certifier functions from an owner’s perspective.
- Experience in and understanding of the proper administration of construction and/or civil engineering contracts including legal principles applicable to such contracts.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
