We are seeking a talented Machine Learning/AI Specialist to join our Operations Digital Transformation team and work on the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions for optimization on various operational processes such as Production, Quality, Methods, Planning, Health & Safety and Customer Delivery.

As a Machine Learning/AI Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing data, designing, implementing machine learning models, and integrating them into our various transactional platform to improve workflow efficiency using automation, business processes and optimize decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and opportunities that can be addressed through machine learning solutions.
  • Design, develop and implement artificial intelligence models to meet business needs.
  • Automate data extraction and transformation for the AI/ML pipelines.
  • Deploy and integrate/adapt existing and new machine learning models into the SAP4Hana platform.
  • Evaluate the performance of machine learning models through test to assess the impact and fine-tune them to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and guidelines for machine learning implementation in SAP4Hana.
  • Collaborate with users and business stakeholders to define requirements and collect their feedback to maximize value for the business.
  • Keep up to date with the latest research and trends in the field of Machine Learning and and apply new methods and techniques where appropriate.

Responsibilities:

HOW TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE?

  • You have at least five (5) years of experience in analytics, data science, and computer engineering.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Statistics or another quantitative field, and have an interest in the development and maintenance of software involving complex data transformations and machine learning algorithms (ML).
  • You have experience building AI models using machine learning algorithms and deep learning neural networks for time series forecasting, predictive analysis, image recognition, and natural language processing.
  • You have experience using cloud computing platforms, preferred Microsoft Azure such as Azure data factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Machine learning also familiarity with other azure services is a plus.
  • You have skills in software architecture and modular software development and knowledge in Python and PySpark is a must.
  • You are familiar with the docker and packaging the software.
  • You have the knowledge of agile development methods and the skills necessary to effectively integrate into a collaborative work environment in agile mode.
  • You have familiarity with agile project management and application lifecycle management over Azure DevOps.
  • You are familiar with Linux scripting or PowerShell scripting.
  • You show leadership and decision-making initiative for solving complex problems.
  • You have strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • You have strong written, and verbal communication and presentation skills.
