We are in the business of changing the world of dating by allowing you to see who is single in the room or location you are in - when you match you already know where to meet. No texting needed (if you do not want to). We build maps over the city to show you where you ought to go to increase your chance of finding your someone and we even do pre-planned dates. It is based on scientifically proven ways of increasing the chance for real romantic experiences to evolve. We aim to disrupt the industry, city by city, country by country.
Krown is looking for an Machine Learning Developer (Internship) to join our development team in Denmark or remote. The main requirement for you is to have technical background / knowledge and passion about machine learning either in University Projects / Professional Experience or even personal projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and optimize machine learning models to enhance user matching algorithms and improve the functionality of our city-wide maps indicating potential meet-up spots.
• Analyze user data to derive insights and drive improvements in our matchmaking process, adhering to privacy and ethical guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong foundational knowledge in machine learning, including experience with frameworks.
• Proficiency in development.
• A proactive learner with a keen interest in machine learning and development, evidenced by academic projects, professional experience, or personal ventures.

Bonus points for

• Familiarity with SQL databases and server-side technologies like PHP, Laravel, and AWS.
• Familiarity with PHP
• Understanding of Linux environments.

We have just made our beta launch so it is an exciting time to work.
The business took off when launching our last beta/alpha, a bit too quick. About 1500 users in a week through organic growth. It was too much for the servers to handle and we did not have a dedicated IT person by the time to handle the growth.
We like a casual, fun work environment and grabbing a beer to kick back at the end of the week. Our growth will be done as by starting part time and then going full time when the next test proves traction again. We have an open communication working actively with feedback, as we always want to learn and improve ourselves. We can contribute with knowledge about strategy, management, coding, running a business and developing business impact.
