WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a mechanical-oriented operator to set up and run our tubing and bottling lines.
This role will be based out of our Eastside Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Sound knowledge of HACCP and WHMIS
  • Attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management and communication skills
  • This is a physically demanding position and requires the ability to lift 25kg
  • Relevant education OR equivalent work experience in manufacturing is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-operational checks on all machinery and equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition
  • Perform basic machine adjustments, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair
  • Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers
  • Ensure company equipment, material, and the worksite are maintained, kept clean, and stored safely.
  • Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse
  • Organize, maintain an obstructive-free work area and safely operate all machinery/equipment
  • Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation
  • Perform and report on daily safety and maintenance checks
  • Work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Start machinery and adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance
