Description:

CONTRACT TYPE: PERMANENT POSITION

The business is currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join an established engineering company based in Newport.
This position provides you with the opportunity to work with a leading engineering business, operating in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotives and transportation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • Individual with an engineering background proficient in interpreting drawings and measurement techniques.
  • Capable of operating semi-automatic equipment and executing predefined programs
  • Demonstrates strong teamwork abilities.
  • Possesses effective communication skills.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operating a wide range of production equipment within engineer environment.
  • Quality check parts before releasing to customers.
  • Demonstrating safe conduct and undergoing necessary training to meet job requirements.
  • Familiarising oneself with the check work check process.
  • Fully understanding provided training and comprehending factors influencing coating quality, with the ability to execute each component and process according to approved methods.
