DESCRIPTION:

The opportunity
Operating as Black Bag Roasters we have a brand-new purpose-built facility with state-of-the-art equipment. This site is a monumental milestone for Nomad Coffee Group and positions the company for some exciting growth.
We are looking for a motivated professional, who wants to be part of our continued growth. You’ll be responsible for ensuring efficiency with our fully automated equipment to ensure we maintain the highest safety and quality standards in a high-volume environment.
This is permanent full-time role, working our PM shift between 1.30pm to 10.00pm shift Monday - Friday, and you may at times be required to work Tuesday to Saturday. The first few weeks of training will be conducted during the AM shift, 6.30am to 2.00pm.

What skills and knowledge do I need?

  • A mechanically-minded individual with a high aptitude in automated equipment/technology operation.
  • An understanding of SQF, HACCP and GMP with strong attention to detail, safety and reliability.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment, exposure to Rovema packing machines would be highly regarded, however, not essential
  • Committed to quality in a high-volume environment.
  • Follow policy, procedures, and instructions.
  • Confidence using technology & systems.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Forklift licence is highly advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to your role with proven reliability

Responsibilities:

  • Operating automated Rovema equipment, maintaining a continuous flow of product, including case packer and pallitiser.
  • Preparing and completing accurate records.
  • Cleaning and housekeeping.
  • Committed to safety and quality assurance and completion of safety/ quality checks as required.
  • Assist with production staging.
