  JP Recruitment has an outstanding career opportunity with a national supplier of metal and steel and whose customers comprise of steel/sheet metal manufacturers across Australia.
  Located in Kewdale, we are seeking a Machine Operator to join the team in newly created role where training will be provided by a buddy on several Roll Forming machines which you will learn to operate and then fulfill customer requirements for various products.

The role would suit anyone with machine operating or sheet metal experience who wants to develop their skills and become a competent operator and therefore acquire skills that will always be in high demand.   We are seeking previous experience in the sheet metal sector - ideally the successful candidate would have experience in general machine operating, however experience on guillotines, benders/press-brakes or Roll Formers would be highly regarded.
  The role is a permanent Day Shift role, working from 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday.
  Pay is weekly and the hourly rate on offer is $31.10p.h plus penalties for overtime.

We are seeking candidates with:

• experience in manufacturing, production or machine operation
• a desire to have a career in metal/sheet-metal/fabrication
• flexible and can multitask to do a variety of tasks
• own transport
• reliable, good communication skills
• an aptitude to learn to operate a machine
• good attention to detail
