Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust are looking to recruit a band 7 MR physicist to contribute to a broad range of clinical services, groundbreaking research activities and commissioning of innovative technologies. This post would be a great opportunity for an MR researcher with healthcare experience to move into a clinical post, or for a final year trainee clinical scientist or current clinical scientist looking for an exciting environment in which to further develop their skills.

This post provides support for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) in the Trust and for external Service Level Agreement (SLA) customers. This is carried out for the Radiological Sciences Unit (RSU) which is part of the Imaging Department of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT), on Trust sites as well as those covered in our SLAs. Trust sites include Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital and Community Diagnostic Centres.
The post holder will be a healthcare scientist in MR with the ability to provide scientific and technical expertise.
The role will include clinical development, research, teaching and training, quality assurance, trouble-shooting and MR safety work on a range of manufacturer’s equipment and with whole body applications
