Description:
Geologics is seeking a talented Maintainability Engineer to work with one of our national aerospace and defense partners based in San Diego, CA. This is a 6-month contract assignment with the potential to extend. A permanent position may be offered, dependent on your performance during the contract period.
Position: Maintainability Engineer
Type: W-2, Contract or Contract-to-Hire
Location: Onsite in San Diego, CA
Pay: $44.00 - $54.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:
- Develops maintenance procedures, defining maintenance steps, equipment, tools, times and personnelrequirements.
- Enters maintenance procedures and associated task data into SLICwave
- Provides technical inputs for analyses to determine the most cost-effective alternatives for performing maintenance tasks over the life of thesystem.
- Identifies and defines which parts of a system can be repaired or removed and replaced.
- Develops and writes technicaldocumentation, makes revisions to existing documentation, and provides input to technical presentations.
- Presents project technicalresults and recommendations to internal customers
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Maintainability Engineer, Logistics Engineer, RAM Engineer, or similar to include:
- Experience developing and entering maintenance tasks using Slicwave
- Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with MS Teams
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance for this position.
