Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Admin Officer to join our Wilpinjong Mine. Our Wilpinjong Mine is an open-cut mine located 58 kilometres northeast of Mudgee producing a high quality thermal coal for export and domestic markets.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing clerical and data entry support services for the Maintenance Department. You will also comply with all site and statutory OH&S regulations and maintain a strong focus on safety for yourself and others including the use of site safety systems.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Kronos payroll administration for the workforce
  • General administration duties including word processing, filing, mail-outs, electronic and hard copy filing and archiving of documents
  • Maintain an accurate register of safety and training data for personnel
  • Identification and development of administrative processes to achieve improvements
  • Assist with SAP
  • Support CHPP Maintenance Supervisors with administration tasks associated with Planned Maintenance

This is a fast paced and challenging role and would suit someone who can work autonomously and also within a team. Critical to your success will be:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the maintenance sector
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, and have exposure to SAP and Kronos (or similar)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Attention to detail, demonstrated problem solving skills and a “can do” attitude
  • Outstanding multitasking and organisational skillsStrong organisation and attention to detail coupled with problem solving abilitie
