Description:

  • Sydney based role, covering APAC operations
  • Client side - supporting expanding data centre developer / operator
  • Supporting Facilities and Maintenance Operations Teams

OVERVIEW

Mission Critical Recruitment are seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to perform analysis of operational data to understand performance of assets across multiple hyperscale data centres

Requirements

  • Experience in leading operational reporting and analysis for asset heavy environments
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Data Science or similar.
  • Knowledge of building services – mechanical, electrical, building controls, etc.
  • Ability to analyse problems, conduct root cause analysis and provide effective solutions
  • Data processing skills (Excel, SQL etc)
  • Power BI or equivalent knowledge
  • Understanding of facilities management
  • Data centre (or critical environment) operational experience
  • Excellent communication and ability to work with cross functional stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel if required

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying opportunities for improvement across building operations, services and facilities
  • Gathering information from workflows and analysing reports
  • Analysing operations information and data.
  • Documenting findings, preparing reports, and making recommendations.
  • Developing new procedures to enhance operations.
  • Analysing the effectiveness of new processes.
  • Creating and managing reporting dashboards.
  • Supporting asset management planning
  • Manage the use of platforms such as CMMS, BMS, SCADA, Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Supporting multiple business units.
