The Diamond Coast is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join its Maintenance Team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience working in a maintenance role
• Previous experience working in a maintenance role in a Hotel is desirable
• Previous experience working with general maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing and carpentry
• Qualifications in one or more trades including painting, gardening, heating, plumbing, and construction is desirable
• Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
• Have flexibility regarding working hours
• Have a good command of the English Language

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on the property.
• Responsible for maintaining the external areas of the hotel grounds including Grass cutting, weeding, flowerbed & paving upkeep.
• To maintain the back of house areas including cardboard, refuse and recycling areas.
• Complete urgent emergency repair work as soon as it arises.
• Carry out painting of hotel rooms and common areas.
• Carry out general plumbing and carpentry tasks in the property.
• Coordinate sub-contractors where necessary and as directed by your manager.
• Complete any special duties/projects that your manager might require you to do on any given occasion.
