OBJECTIVE & OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented person to join our team as a Maintenance Coordinator to enhance our efficiency and reliability. The successful candidate will manage and optimize our preventative maintenance and repair records, develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, and ensure high-level compliance with maintenance budgets. Responsibilities include researching and coordinating the procurement of maintenance parts, advising on financial statements, and maintaining an accurate ERP system for work orders and maintenance logs. Additionally, this role involves some shipping and receiving duties, including operating a forklift for inventory management. This position requires excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong employee interaction abilities. QUALIFICATION PROFILE

Education & Work Experience:

  • A college diploma, university degree, or 3 or more years’ experience is a similar role
  • Must be a self-motivated individual and proficient in Microsoft office programs as well as some knowledge of Microsoft Access. Having three to five years’ experience working in an manufacturing / industrial environment would be a valued asset to this position.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • All Operational Systems and Processes with a primary focus on:
  • Maintenance Module
  • Rock Management Toolkit and Short Interval Controls of Primary Fleet
  • Health and Safety
  • A consistent housekeeping system for the market and reinforces this proactive and systematic approach through consistent follow-up during site visits and through his/her behaviours and actions
  • Rollout of practical digital improvements across the market
  • Assists in the development of annual operations plan

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute as a key member of the maintenance team keeping the Maintenance Module system at a high standard at the operation
  • Maintain complete and accurate preventative maintenance and repair files and support changes as required
  • Transfer daily inspection information into work order format as requried
  • Research and price all maintenance parts with support of the Purchasing Manger and set up shipping and receiving of same
  • Maintain stock of safety supplies and other consumables
  • Enter work orders and maintenance time sheets
  • Support development of maintenance plan and implementation
  • Advise and maintain financial statements
  • Data entry; financial statements
  • Interacts with employees, offering assistance and responding to queries about purchases and tool requirements

Relationship with Others

  • Works closely with the ECAN Manufacturing staff to ensure manufacturing best practices and tools are fully utilized across the market area.
  • Work with Safety to develop and maintain a culture of safety
  • Works closely with the Supply Chain and Distribution Staff to ensure efficient management of production costs & inventories.
