Profile
The Maintenance Data Management Analyst is responsible for the collection, processing and storing, of aircraft maintenance and reliability data securely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Aircraft operational data includes operational incidents (on-time departures, delays, cancellations, diversions, ground and air turn-backs) and pilot and maintenance reports, component removals and causes are reviewed and coded appropriately and stored for further analysis.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collect raw technical system and aircraft operational data from aircraft operators – via voluntary data submission (handled in trust)
  • Manage the processing of raw data from external processor
  • Address processing issues and queries raised by the processor in a timely manner
  • Process clean data to ensure uniformity, validity, quality and solidity
  • Upload clean data in DHC centralized database
  • Monitor the data submission status of reporting operators and conduct follow-up as required to maintain consistent flow of data
  • Perform data quality scans on various master files.
  • Responsible for data quality and integrity
  • Assess raw data and make recommendations regarding data structure and content to the operators/vendors based on the department’s business requirements
  • Maintain good relationship with stakeholders, effectively and positively influence operators/vendors to comply with the data submission requirements
  • Maintain documentation of activities
  • Build rapport and relationships with internal teams and external organizations
  • Perform hands-on data analysis in support of business requests
  • Maintain database of Aircraft status, location & utilization history.

Education and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree of engineering, or College diploma in Aviation or relevant experience
  • Ability to understand aircraft system level architecture to correlate raw data accurately

Ideal Candidate

  • Highly organized with ability to process and efficiently coordinate multiple flows of data
  • Working knowledge of MS Access, SQL Oracle, VBA coding
  • MicroStrategy and Power BI skills are desirable
  • Have a passion for data management and aviation
