    Shift: Sunday to Thursday - 10:00pm - 6:00am - 1.5x Overtime on Saturdays and x2 on Sundays.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a successful maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting within a manufacturing or industrial environment. This position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of working independently and collaboratively to ensure the reliability and functionality of electrical systems and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and industrial controls. Experience with motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and instrumentation preferred.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems efficiently and effectively. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality standards in maintenance procedures, documentation, and safety protocols.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Certifications: Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in electrical maintenance, instrumentation, or a related field. Current electrical license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical issues, identify root causes of equipment malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • PLC: Proficient in, troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to optimize equipment performance and functionality.
  • Equipment Installation: Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new electrical systems and machinery according to manufacturer specifications and company guidelines.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Adhere to all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and maintenance procedures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance. Provide feedback on potential enhancements to maintenance procedures and workflow processes.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and production staff, to address maintenance issues, prioritize tasks, and achieve departmental objectives.
