We are looking for a motivated individual to join the team to contribute to the performance of the Maintenance Engineering team by ensuring compliance to all safe working practices, maintenance schedule and meeting all Engineering specifications.

About the role

  • To provide maintenance requirements on all plant both repairs and preventive in close collaboration with the Production/Operations and Technical Teams to ensure equipment can run at their optimum working conditions.
  • To carry out scheduled maintenance, within set time frames.
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of Equipment and plant breakdowns.
  • Testing and repairs of equipment ,organisation of specialised fittings or components as required.
  • Supervising of contractors in accordance with company policies.
  • Contribute to the Continuous Improvement of equipment and systems, by sharing process knowledge and skill.
  • Troubleshooting plant and equipment breakdowns as they arise and inform supervisor if unable to solve the problem within set time frames.

About you

  • Fully Qualified Fitter Turner or Maintenance Engineer with at least 3-5 years’ Experience required ( In manufacturing environment would be advantageous )
  • Welding , Milling & Turning experience essential.
  • Effective communication and decision-making skills
  • Excellent understanding of health/safety procedures
  • Forklift licence (would be advantageous)
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Excel and MEX (would be advantageous).
  • Methodical ability to work through rouble shooting process with a high attention to detail.
