Description:
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (GRANTHAM)
We are a specialist recycling and reuse company for refrigerators and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
We are looking for a Weekend Maintenance Engineer, to join our Engineering team at our recycling facility in Grantham.
We want people who thrive in a diverse and challenging work environment. Ideally applicants would have electrical qualifications and come from an industrial background.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a small team working on a wide range of machinery, this position would suit an Engineer able to be part of projects, overhauling and adapting machinery, alongside reactive and planned preventive maintenance.
Ideally applicants are required to be mechanically biased with some electrical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Weekend maintenance across the site to ensure optimal performance.
- Fault finding on equipment such as electrical panels, PLC, 3 phrase circuits and control systems, motor testing repairs and replacement.
- Mechanically replacing bearings, compressor checks, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Completing all relevant documentation to a high standard
- Basic facility and site service maintenance when required.
This is 12-hour shift on a shift pattern of 4 on 3 off over weekends Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon
Applicants are required to be flexible as the shift may change.
Mechanical knowledge such as bearings, compressors, chains, hydraulics, and pneumatics are essential. Electrical knowledge is an advantage.
