Maintenance Engineer - Genk (W/M) 1

In order to reach the objectives in a new but fast growing and technology evolving market, Plastic Omnium has set up a dedicated Division “New Energies division” focusing on Hydrogen Storage, Fuel Cell Stack and Integrated Hydrogen Systems.
RESPONSABILITIES & ACITIVITIES
- Assist in setting up a full maintenance plan in the department to increase machine reliability
- Helps the maintenance team to resolve safety items as well as recurring machine problems
- Commissioning machines and keeping documentation up-to-date
- Identifies the need of spare parts for the machines (MRO)
- Works with the industrial department to establish a maintenance plan (preventive and predictive) for the machines on the production floor
- Provides training to maintenance technicians and other supporting staff to improve their skills
Safety & environment
- Responsible for complying with all safety rules in the workplace
- Ensures correct separation of waste
- Responsible for wearing all necessary personal protective equipment
- Responisible for reacting immediately or signaling in case of irregulatirities at work with regard to safety and environment, and if necessary stopping activity.
- Contributes to spreading a safety culture
- Ensures order and cleanliness in the workplace
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
- Master in Electronic Engineering
- Min 2 years experience with leading a team
- Languages: Written and Spoken Dutch and English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (powerpoint, excel,…)
- Knowledge of PLC (Siemens S7, TIA portal) and CAD-design (solidworks)
- Experience in project management and maintenance package
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop floor experience
- Hands-on regarding maintenance activities
- Basic training safety, environment and LOTO

- Experience in leadership, with an emphasis on lean management in maintenance
