Description:

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in an FMCG/Manufacturing/Production environment.
  • Minimum of a level 3 qualification in an engineering field and electrical certification.
  • Experience with industrial maintenance -
  • Plant machinery installation
  • Electrical experience & mechanical qualifications
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Experience with both electrical and mechanical maintenance on large scale industrial equipment and machinery.
    The successful Maintenance Engineer will be electrically biased and will be working on a days and nights, fortnightly rotating shift pattern.
    £38,000 k+ basic, working 42 hours a week, plus any potential additional paid overtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Working across the factory attending machinery breakdowns and diagnosing faults as well as ensuring all planned and routine maintenance activities are carried out and documented on the CMMS.
  • Working with production responding to machinery breakdowns ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • Carrying out CI initiatives ensuring you are always looking for and recommending additional continuous improvements that could be made.
  • You will also be responsible for machinery installations/ moves and modifications.
