Description:
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in an FMCG/Manufacturing/Production environment.
- Minimum of a level 3 qualification in an engineering field and electrical certification.
- Experience with industrial maintenance -
- Plant machinery installation
- Electrical experience & mechanical qualifications
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with both electrical and mechanical maintenance on large scale industrial equipment and machinery.
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be electrically biased and will be working on a days and nights, fortnightly rotating shift pattern.
£38,000 k+ basic, working 42 hours a week, plus any potential additional paid overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Working across the factory attending machinery breakdowns and diagnosing faults as well as ensuring all planned and routine maintenance activities are carried out and documented on the CMMS.
- Working with production responding to machinery breakdowns ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Carrying out CI initiatives ensuring you are always looking for and recommending additional continuous improvements that could be made.
- You will also be responsible for machinery installations/ moves and modifications.
