Responsibilities:
Our Hokitika site is Silver Fern Farms only processing facility in the West Coast of the South Island, employing just over 120 people at the peak of the season.
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team as a Leading Hand, responsible for the hands-on day to day leadership within our small but strong mechanical engineering team. Someone who is maybe looking to take their first step down the leadership path, leading by example all the way and encouraging a collaborative and cohesive team from the front.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in projects and installation of new site equipment as well as a wide range of mechanical engineering applications across the site.
