Description:
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and working a continental shift, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach.
Key tasks & Activities
- Day to day maintenance of all plant equipment on site
- Maintaining PPM schedules, work procedures and involvement in continuous improvement activities
- Reactive and pro-active maintenance
- Utilising our Enterprise Resource Software (SAP) to keep up to date machine works history, spare parts consumption and PPM planning.
- Liaising with Team Leaders and Management to effectively organise reactive/pro-active and PPM schedules to cause minimal disruption to site operations
Who we are looking for…
- Electrically biased with strong Mechanical skills or;
- Mechanical biased with electrical skills (qualifications)
- Good logical thought process in regards to fault diagnosis and rectification
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC’s and Inverter drives would be advantageous.
- Experience of Blow Moulding and Packaging machines would be advantageous
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
- Excellent Team skills
- Good communication, flexibility and reliability are essential for this position
