HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

You will lead a team of more the 20 experienced employees in the maintenance department and you will work closely with a Team leader. In addition, you are part of the management team on the site and you will of course also work closely with colleagues at the head office in Viby.
Together with your team, it is your most important task to ensure that the dairy’s process equipment, service installations and production IT run as it should. Here you especially focus on preventive maintenance to ensure as much uptime as possible.

In addition, you are responsible for:

• safety and working environment – which we have a special focus on that all rules are complied with and that we deliver quality on time and within budget
• coach, motivating and develop your employees, while making sure they have the right skills to do the job.

You will be overall responsible for building and maintenance projects in the department, which is headed by a project manager who reports to you. Part of the projects is about reducing C02 on the site.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

We are looking for someone with leadership experience and ambition. You have a positive attitude, take responsibility, and are proactive in ensuring the best solutions together with your stakeholders. Additionally, we expect you to:

• An education as an engineer or marine engineer. Alternatively, you may also have a craftsmanship background
• Management experience from a similar position – preferably from the food industry
• Your ability to keep a cool overview and find solutions when unforeseen challenges suddenly arise
• A good eye for how we can do things smarter, faster and more efficiently together.

Here you get great freedom to manage your department independently and help influence the development of the dairy in general and specifically within your area.

We are responsible for the fresh milk supply to most of Southern Denmark, and it is sometimes minutes that can be decisive for production and whether we deliver to the customer on time. And you can almost feel the customer all the way to the filling machine”, says site director, Jan Vraa Mikkelsen.
