Maintenance & Engineering Manager

• Actively promote the Four Pillars of the Peabody Leadership Model (Inspire, Innovate, Execute, Collaborate)
• Manage contractors and hold contractors to account for performance and deliverable as per agreements in place
• Enforce & maintain the maintenance “Best Practice” technique to ensure that Peabody’s equipment is maintained to a high safety, productive & reliable standard
• Develop and drive maintenance budget
• Develop and take an active role in LOM planning and assets LCC planning.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• Engineering degree / equivalent or a trade qualification with applicable subsequent management-level development and experience
• Tertiary qualifications in Maintenance & Asset Management (highly desirable)
• Leadership or Business qualification / experience such as Lean (desirable)
• ICAM and/or RCA certificate of competence (desirable)
• Recognised Competencies under the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act
