4-6 years of experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER (KSAOS)

  • Engineering degree or extensive aircraft experience supported by an Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) Part 66 Cat C;
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, within a Part-M or Part-145 Mx Organization;
  • Formal technical training in aircraft maintenance;
  • Excellent of Aircraft technical manual interpretation skills;
  • Reliability data interpretation & analysis experience;
  • Good Knowledge of EASA, FAA ICAO and NAA regulations and requirements;
  • Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Oversee the maintenance programmes, procedures and propose maintenance practices, methodologies or aircraft modifications, schedule aircraft maintenance inspections and coordinate the aircraft maintenance actions, to ensure compliance with manufacturer recommendations, regulatory requirements, aircraft availability, reliability, and safe operation, guaranteeing the safety of Company aircrafts.
Manage the Service Level Agreements deliverables and maintenance costs to achieve operational and financial Company results.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse and determine the short and long-term planning of aircraft maintenance, by liaising with stakeholders (Charter, Flight Care, Owner Experience, Owners and Service Centres);
  • Monitor individual aircraft maintenance status report and Computerized Maintenance Tracking System update to guarantee that required inspections and time change components are timely accomplished in accordance with the Aircraft Approved Inspection Program;
  • Procure slots, schedule, monitor and control aircraft maintenance actions performed by the approved maintenance services centres to ensure that maintenance is timely and efficiently complete with minimum downtime;
  • Manage and support the teams that provide the Service Level Agreements deliverables, in the scope of the subcontracted tasks defined in the CAMO Subcontract Agreements, to achieve the EJME service objectives and goals, ensuring compliance with EJME standards and requirements;
  • Develop, update, and optimize aircraft Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL’s), in liaison with Flight Operations, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, aircraft dispatch capability and guarantying safety of Company aircraft;
  • Develop, update, and optimize the Approved Aircraft Inspection Programs (AAIP) to ensure compliance with EASA and ANAC requirements, aircraft manufacturers recommendations, safety operation, improved availability, and Company procedures;
  • Analyse, review, and negotiate the maintenance proposals, to control costs while maintaining the EJME standards and requirements;
  • Provide maintenance support to flight crews to enable timely technical decisions to be made upon possible aircraft On Ground (AOG), unscheduled and scheduled events;
  • Manage maintenance events to guarantee maximum aircraft availability, improved maintainability, cost efficiency and aircraft safety;
  • Coordinate with Owners the maintenance costs approval, monitor and validate invoices within the approved budget to achieve operational and financial goals;
  • Review and approve maintenance Contract Change Orders to allow control on aircraft costs and additional aircraft maintenance;
  • Analyse and recommend authorities’ Airworthiness Directives and manufacturer Service Bulletins to guarantee maximum aircraft availability, improved maintainability and aircraft safety;
  • Review and update Continuous Airworthiness Management Exposition and internal procedures to enable Company and department certification in accordance with EASA and ANAC requirements;
  • Oversee Continuous Analysis and Surveillance Program, reviewing reliability data and proposing aircraft modifications, to improve fleet availability, maintainability, and reliability;
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with competent Authorities, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs), vendors and Owners to ensure that EJME keeps the highest service levels;
  • Inform all relevant operational departments affected in case of grounded aircraft to keep them aware of the current aircraft status;
  • Propose and develop improvements to enable operational excellence outputs, while ensuring compliance with applicable legislation;
  • Report all unusual aircraft continuing airworthiness activities or events to the Director of Maintenance & Engineering to enable proper notification to regulatory authority and within the company.
