Maintenance Fitter Fabricator

FLI Precast Solutions Ltd. Aare recruiting a Mechanical Fitter Fabricator to join our busy and growing Maintenance team. This role is part of a wider team and reports to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager. This is a full-time permanent contract position.

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on various equipment.
• Welding, steel fabrication and mechanical fitting.
• Complete fabrication end to end.
• Provide mechanical maintenance support to the operation of the manufacturing process and utility systems.
• Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Carry out all planned and unplanned maintenance in a timely manner reducing impact on production an minimising breakdown recovery time.
• Installation of plant equipment and machinery on site and carrying out diagnostics and repair of malfunctioning equipment following drawings and procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
• Plan and participate, where necessary, in co-ordination of project works and planned shutdowns.
• Support Production team in achieving targets.
• Repairs to mechanical and control systems equipment including pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Co-operate and participate in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies.
• Follow all Health and Safety rules and regulations on site.
• Any other duties which may be reasonably assigned.
