Synaco is currently seeking a skilled and proficient Maintenance Fitter with demonstrated expertise in servicing fixed plant equipment within a heavy industrial setting, for an esteemed Steel Company located in South Western Sydney. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive background in fault identification and diagnostics, coupled with a strong grasp of operational processes and maintenance protocols. Adeptness in addressing breakdown scenarios and fulfilling urgent requirements is essential for this role. We are in search of a self-driven individual who thrives in overcoming obstacles, exhibits a track record of meeting deadlines, and upholds a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality results.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Preventative maintenance
• Reactive maintenance
• Mobile and fixed plant maintenance and repairs
• Repairs and maintenance to hydraulic systems
• Site works, minor fabrication jobs

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING:

• Australian recognized trade qualification
• Previous experience working on loaders, fixed plant including shearers, benders and conveyor systems would be an advantage.
• Current Driver’s License and own transport
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Strong computer skills
• Commitment to Health and Safety
