Responsibilities:

The Buildings and Grounds Services unit is located in the Department of Parliamentary Services and is responsible for the maintenance and development of the historic grounds at Parliament House and provision of a comprehensive range of building support services.
The Maintenance Officer (Electrical) will carry out maintenance (including electrical, carpentry as well as general maintenance) within the Parliamentary Precinct as well as providing customer focussed support and services to Members of Parliament, staff and the public.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working closely with all precinct and property management staff, this role sits within a small professional team who share a passion and commitment for providing quality service within the Parliamentary Precinct.
