SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

ABOUT THE ROLE

A new opportunity has come available for an experienced All Rounder, Maintenance Officer to join the team at our two Aged Care facilities in Katheirne, Rocky Ridge Nursing Home and Katheirne Hostel. This position is being offered on a casual basis working ad hoc shifts, Monday – Friday and at a salary of $29.13 - $30.43 + 25% casual loading gross base.
This role will see you undertake a range of generalist handy person duties to keep our facilities in the best condition possible this will include general maintenance, painting, plumbing etc and grounds supporting including mowing and weeding. You will also provide support and guidance for external contracts who are on site to support the facility when required.
This opportunity will suite a person who is proactive and leads by example. You will have previous experience in a maintenance or handy man environment and be looking for casual work opportunities, you must also hold a current NT Drivers Licence and be comfortable travelling between our two facilities. In addition, you will be comfortable working within an Aged Care facility and interacting respectfully with our residents.
