THE ROLE

At Crown we strive to offer our guests the best possible experience and a key part of that is ensuring our facilities run smoothly. We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Operations Manager, tasked with leading a large-scale team of trades to ensure a highly effective resort operation.

Reporting into the General Manager of Property Services, this is a key leadership role heading up a diverse team of property services staff. You will drive a high level of performance and a cohesive team culture. You will also develop and execute maintenance strategies, risk management activities and resource optimisation. Other responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the maintenance operation’s performance by achieving high levels of service standards and productivity through both preventive maintenance and critical plant recovery after unscheduled facility downtime
  • Liaise with other departments on delivering all services in a timely and effective manner to maximise productivity and revenue as well as report on impacts to operations
  • Develop and implement advanced maintenance strategies to optimise customer service delivery
  • Manage risks associated with the potential downtime of the building plant, equipment and services as well as develop and execute risk control and business recovery strategies
  • Ensure that all maintenance programs and associated activities comply with relevant policies and procedures and other regulatory requirements

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced leader of large facilities maintenance teams. You will bring your technical knowledge to provide clear directives to maintain a high level of operational effectiveness. Ideally you would have had exposure working with trade unions and leading diverse teams. You will have customer service at your core and the ability to contribute to a world class resort. You’ll also bring the following:

  • Extensive experience in a senior building management role across large scale landscapes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams with a high service standard culture
