YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Registered in an approved Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) – 433A apprenticeship program, preferably at 4th level, with the Ontario College of Trades.
- Three (3) years of relevant mechanical experience.
- On track to complete the Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) examination to become a licensed Millwright.
- Millwright / Electrical Techniques program completion preferred.
- Good mechanical aptitude. Candidates shall be required to demonstrate mechanical skills by completing assessment.
- Proficiency in the use of tools, equipment, and measuring/ calibration/diagnostic devices. Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics. Proficiency in BAS, CMMS, PLC, E-mail, Windows. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of maintenance and knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), WHMIS requirements and regulations
- Familiarity with facility, critical systems, manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Works in a safe manner, adhering to company health and safety policies and industry safety requirements to ensure a healthy and safe workplace.
