Description:
Responsibilities:
- Act as system owner/administrator for the Site CMMS
- Play a lead role in the optimisation of the Site CMMS and the development of the associated process flows
- Work with the Projects Engineering team to ensure the maintainability of new and modified installations
- Act as Maintenance Owner for project to maintenance handovers and ensure the integration of such into the relevant maintenance systems (i.e. all required data is up-loaded on to the system)
- Under the direction of the Site Asset/Technical Manager ensure the Site CMMS database is up-dated with all new asset details associated with recent projects upgrades
- Responsible for populating of Excel up-load templates with all asset details including:
- New functional locations and asset location structures
- Equipment details (makes, models, equipment classification, serial numbers etc…)
- BOMs & spare requirements
- Purchasing details
- PM routines, tasks and frequencies
- Conduct plant survey works to record Mechanical and Electrical equipment details
- Develop and implement validation checks to ensure all data is correctly transferred to the Site CMMS
- Removal/Retirement of redundant assets from the Site CMMS
- Up-load O&M Manuals and associated asset documentation to the Site CMMS
- Perform spares assessments and link spare parts details to associated assets in the Site CMMS
- P&ID mark ups and retagging of field equipment
- Ensure all equipment required for annual statutory inspections/certifications are included on the site asset register
- Coordinate with the Site Maintenance Specialist/Scheduler to ensure that services and inspections are scheduled and performed when due and that resultant corrective work is promptly performed
- Assist with the management of the sites Calibrations Contractor and associated programmes
- Provide support in site maintenance related RCAs and understand root causes of repeated equipment failures
- Help develop engineering solutions for repetitive failures and other maintenance problems
- Analyse equipment history data to ensure that current maintenance programs are effective and fit for purpose
- Play a supportive role in the development of the site Maintenance excellence strategy and programme
- Help reduce and improve maintenance work wherever feasible; assuring efficient and reliable operation of plant, process and equipment while protecting and prolonging the economic life of plant assets at optimal cost
- Drive plant reliability improvement programmes through the use of the following reliability engineering technics: FMEAs, OE/availability, RCM and condition based monitoring programmes
- Drive Preventative Maintenance programmes such as vibration, thermography and other predictive analyses and interpretation of results
- Provide coaching to the craft teams by sharing your skill-set and expertise in the areas of CMMS and asset care
- Provide system training and technical support where appropriate to the Maintenance Team
- Responsible for the generation of departmental KPI reports using the CMMS
- Support the Maintenance Stores Manager with his day to day activities (2 days per week):
- Provide SAP expertise to the Stores Manager, assisting with the integration of the new SAP system and associated changes in ways of working
- Provide cover for the Stores Manager in the event of holidays or absence
- Monitor the quality and delivery of goods, materials and services
- Preparation of weekly reports with full detailed analysis of spare parts/consumables usage and costs
- Liaise with the Maintenance team to ensure stock is available for maintenance
- Use the SAP system to carry out and record routine stock checks on the Maintenance Stores
- Management of contractor purchases orders in line with company procedures
- Process goods received notes and invoices for accounts
- Set up stores, label all spare parts and update on to the CMMS
- Responsible for Danone Internal Controls as assigned to you by the Internal Controller
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- A general understanding of a broad range of process equipment e.g. mechanical, electrical and instrumentation required
- Strong understanding of process equipment attributes and terminology essential
- Experience in working in an Industrial Maintenance of a FMCG, fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment with demonstrable and transferable skills highly desirable
- Knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or exposure to databases would be an advantage
- Ability to demonstrate good general administration, data/file management and documentation skills
- Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using MS Office tools including Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Access
- Proficient numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data
- Strong written, numerical and verbal skills
