POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, or Planning disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, Project Controls, Engineering, and Planning, including major projects and tenders.
  • Experience in risk management and the use of planning software (e.g., Maximo, SAP).
  • Proficiency in planning software and understanding of SQ&E legislation.
  • Strong document and record management skills.
  • Knowledge of Asset Life Cycle and planning principles.
  • Experience using Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team.

ABOUT YOU AND THE ROLE

Are you an experienced Maintenance Planner with a passion for asset lifecycle management? Join our dynamic team at John Holland and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Rail Plant Services!
The National Maintenance Planner will be instrumental in managing the Asset Life Cycle Planning Strategy for John Holland Plant. You will be responsible for creating and executing an effective Preventative Maintenance (PM) Plan, ensuring alignment with our corporate objectives and compliance with SQE standards.
This role can be based anywhere in Australia and is a contract position from July - October 2024.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and monitor the PM plan by setting targets and utilizing effective communication with Maintenance Superintendents and Supervisors.
  • Generate all Work Orders for planned preventative maintenance and drive a culture of planning excellence, focusing on risk management and SQE.
  • Provide regular reporting on KPIs to assess the effectiveness of maintenance activities and equipment management systems.
  • Develop and revise strategic direction for Asset Lifecycle Planning with a focus on cost reduction and budget adherence.
