Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Projects Engineer reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for addressing and assisting in any maintenance issues, to ensure smooth operation of the production line.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Maintenance projects coordination
  • Provide technical assistance during projects planning and execution phases
  • Developing and implementing project timeline and actions list

Specific Responsibilities of the Job

  • Communicate with vendors and contractors regarding technical assistance
  • Develop different scenarios to support projects decisions
  • Develop a detailed project plan that includes timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members
  • Coordinate with various teams, including design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance teams, to ensure project goals are met
  • Ensure the project adheres to quality standards and regulations
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and problems that arise during the project
  • Utilize operating manuals and internet sources to determine appropriate actions
  • Provide expert advice without formal supervisory responsibility
  • Plan work and establish priorities
  • Maintains 5S standards in the facility as well as specific to maintenance areas
  • Continuous Improvements of process and equipment
