EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • S. in applicable Engineering field preferred
  • Plant maintenance and/or reliability engineering experience preferred
  • Prior experience with predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography and other performance testing would be ideal
  • Knowledge/experience working with Preventative Maintenance (PM) software

Responsibilities:

  • The Maintenance/Reliability Manager is responsible for improving the performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment.
  • Manage maintenance staff consisting of mechanical engineers, pipefitters, mechanics, electricians, and MRO coordinator, to ensure proper execution of manufacturing equipment projects and maintenance.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and lead the development, implementation, operation, and improvement of the mechanical/reliability programs.
  • Provide technical support to the site around key maintenance metrics and indicators.
  • Determine the root cause of equipment failures/breakdowns, develop a plan to correct problems, and implement the necessary corrective actions to eliminate failures.
  • Lead in the development, implementation, and upgrade of the Predictive Maintenance Program utilizing methods such as Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis, and Infrared Thermography.
  • Develop preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the correct level of activity to successfully maintain equipment. Monitor effectiveness and update as needed.
  • Establish, maintain, and continually improve the mechanical integrity program to ensure the equipment does not fail in a way that causes or affects the release of chemicals.
  • Participate in site health, environmental, PSM, and safety activities
