A leader company in the food sector based in Ath is looking for a Maintenance & Safety Engineer. As Maintenance & Safety Engineer you will directly report to the Site Director.

In this position as Maintenance & Safety Engineer, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Planning the curative and preventive maintenance plans and following up on the team’s interventions
• Managing the budget for spare parts and investment projects
• Managing the human resources in collaboration with the HR department
• Dealing with the spare parts management
• Ensuring the security measures are respected everywhere onsite and establishing the yearly security plan and the strategy for the 5 upcoming years
• Verifying all the equipment is compliant to the CE security labels
• Running security meetings and training the employees onsite.

About you:

• You have a degree in Industrial Engineering
• You have a previous experience in people management in a similar context
• You have a previous experience in the food sector
• You have level II prevention advisor certificate
• You are fluent in English and French or Dutch.
