Job Description
We are currently looking for for a Maintenance Specialist (dual trade) who is passionate about, and can drive, continuous improvement to maximise efficiencies within our Auckland manufacturing site. You will have proven technical experience and strong continuous improvement capability to support an effective maintenance system. You are a passionate and structured problem solver with the ability to influence operational excellence and share your knowledge.
You are a skilled Maintenance technician by trade with a high level of electrical aptitude and maintenance know-how to service our equipment and machinery, proactively lead preventive maintenance activities and manage breakdowns. You are focused on safety, quality, and are attentive to the environmental and standard operating procedures in place.
Qualifications

For this role as a Maintenance Specialist, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Trade qualified Maintenance Technician with a full, practising EWRB registration as Electrician or Electrical Service Technician qualification
  • You hold experience with repairs, breakdowns, servicing, and preventive maintenance activities
  • You have proven experience using continuous improvement methodologies
  • Previous maintenance experience within a FMCG environment or similar is preferred
  • Good understanding of GMP
  • You are proficient with computer systems, including MS Excel, and computerised maintenance management system (e.g. SAP-PM, MEX)
  • Forklift license is preferred – otherwise, we can provide training
  • A respectful team player with a positive, can-do attitude!
