Description:
When you join our team as a Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the mill equipment and the supervision of the maintenance crew while providing professional service and ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
- Enforce the safety program for the maintenance department.
- Lead and initiate maintenance group with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.
- Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
- Manage all site maintenance personnel.
- Support the maintenance personnel onsite to ensure that they are adequately trained and equipped to complete assigned maintenance duties.
- Participate with the hiring of maintenance personnel.
- Conduct employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians.
- Participate in the development and updating of operating and training manuals for the maintenance department.
- Review the operation of plant equipment and systems, to minimize unplanned downtime and to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Identify potential projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
- Ensure proper tracking, analyzing and improvements of maintenance KPIs.
- Maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
