WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit an- Maintenance Technician/Engineer for our client, based in Kildare region.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our on-site manufacturing machines and equipment. Your responsibilities will include corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance, all geared towards achieving maximum efficiency.

Key duties & responsibilities:
- Perform detailed equipment surveys, maintenance, calibrations, PMs, and troubleshooting.
- Operate & monitor equipment using ERP/DCS and PLC based systems for optimum uptime.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex systems in a highly regulated, cGMP environment, including Injection Molding machines, Robotics, HVAC, and more.
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance work, ensuring accurate records of repair history.
- Collaborate with vendors for spare parts supply and equipment upgrades.
What are we looking for?
- Strong competency in electrical fault finding/diagnostics.
- 3rd level qualification in Automation Engineering, Electrics, Electronics, Mechatronics, or relevant trades qualification with Industrial manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a high-volume medical device manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in high-volume automation/robotics, including programming and issue resolution.
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting Pneumatics, Electronics, Hydraulics, Programmable Controllers, Servo Motor drives, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of QMS principles, preferably ISO13485.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
