Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Our client in Windsor, ON is looking for a Maintenance Technical Lead - PSP. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technical Lead responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Plan, coordinate, prioritize, assign, supervise, implement and review maintenance and repair activities to automotive testing equipment, facility equipment and buildings in support of ongoing operations.
  • Oversee and direct maintenance activities to complete required tasks in a safe and timely manner.
  • Comply with the collective bargaining agreement, Canadian Electrical Code, TSSA, corporate policies and other applicable regulations in the organization and execution of maintenance activities.
  • Develop maintenance strategies, programs and make improvements to existing policies.

Major Duties:

  • Troubleshoot automated testing system issues and determine corrective actions.
  • Manage all aspects of environmental health and safety conformance in maintenance program.
  • Develop, maintain and oversee a preventative maintenance program for automotive testing and facility equipment.
  • Develop maintenance procedures for internal and external work forces.
  • Develop scope of work for outsourced maintenance activity.
  • Manage service contracts.
  • Prioritize tasks based on urgency and workforce availability.
  • Procure parts, material and rentals required to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Track data for performance measurable such as Preventative Maintenance task completion, overtime, equipment uptime, etc.
  • Maintain good supplier/customer relations with internal customers and outside suppliers.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and equipment.
