  Situated in Bassendean, The Maker Designer Kitchens (part of the ABN Group) currently has a vacancy for a Maintenance Technician within our Advanced Manufacturing Facility. We are seeking a diligent individual with an eye for detail and flexibility in resolving a wide range of maintenance related tasks.

Working within a small team environment, the successful candidate will demonstrate broad maintenance knowledge and skill or be willing to broaden current knowledge and skills to include mechanical diagnostics and repairs, welding and fabrication, general upkeep of the premises & buildings and any other maintenance related issues. The priority objective of this role is to keep the factory running through preventative maintenance and an urgent reaction to any plant breakdowns.

DESIRABLE:

• Mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
• History working in an automated CNC manufacturing environment with a good understanding of electrical fault-finding
• Basic welding & metal fabrication skills
• Forklift license
• Electrical license (Restricted ticket)
• Working at heights certificate
• Confined Space entry certificate
• First Aid certificate
