SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent customer service and listening skills;
  • Must be able to use job-related tools and equipment with ease;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Basic math and ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and plans;
  • Basic computer and smartphone knowledge with experience using MS Office programs;
  • Ability to effectively analyze, plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to use Google Maps, GPS systems, other related smartphone apps, and more;
  • Good understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
  • Multilingual ability is considered an asset.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous related experience considered an asset;
  • Trades-related ticket/education considered an asset;
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving abstract;
  • Acceptable security and criminal record check.

Responsibilities:

  • Service clients in a polite and professional manner
  • Build quotes for work orders & follow up with clients
  • Create invoices, process payments, track daily expenses
  • Gather required tools and supplies specific to the job/repair
  • Safely drive a Company vehicle to the job site
  • Maintain clean company vehicles and storage areas
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, appliances, and other item
  • Maintain client data & update work order information
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Upsell/offer additional services and seek opportunities for repeat business
  • Must be able to work independently while managing time/changing service schedules
  • Perform tasks within service guidelines and seek appropriate approval for safety-sensitive situations
  • Other duties as required per business needs.
