PAY RATE: STARTING AT $20.80 (NON-EXEMPT)

We offer 24 locations in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Garrett County and Harford Counties and Baltimore City.
Catholic Charities of Baltimore, Senior Communities is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician who is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and grounds. The Maintenance Technician’s main responsibilities include responding to work requests and performing routine repairs and maintenance. The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least three years of experience in institutional maintenance.
- The individual must have a basic, practical knowledge of such skills as repairing molding, woodwork, and drywall, repairing, and replacing plumbing fixtures.
- This individual must be physically able to perform all the required duties related to maintenance work, including the ability to use electric, pneumatic, and hand tools.
- The individual will be able to climb ladders over 30 feet in height and bend and crawl in close spaces. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.

Responsibilities:
- Makes daily repairs, as needed, through the CMMS and the Preventive Maintenance schedule. Provides full documentation of these activities as assigned.
- Performs all Preventative Maintenance and general repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Assumes responsibility for projects as assigned by General Manager or immediate supervisor.
- Works together responsibly as a team with General Manager and all other maintenance staff to accomplish any task at hand.
- Performs other duties as assigned by General Manager or immediate supervisor.
