About the Role:
Maintenance Technician Responding to work orders in a timely manner and consistent within established service level agreements. Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair, installing, delivering, and moving furniture & boxes. Disconnect/reconnect desktop equipment (monitors, docks, etc) as needed. Deliver services in a quality, consistent and professional manner.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems, for Moves, Adds and Changes

What you will do:

  • Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
  • Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks through the operations team.
  • Assists with installation and modification of building furniture systems.
  • Coordinate furniture deliveries from warehouse to regions.
  • Track, review and monitor all inbound and outbound work order & warehouse activity for quality control.
  • Coordinate and provide freight quotes for furniture to be delivered.
  • Finance & invoicing
  • Work done during daytime hours complying with safety protocols.
  • Handling any light and small materials; one-person jobs.
  • Pulling product from warehouse and staging near dock for next day pickup
  • Putting away product into the warehouse racks
  • Use of pallet jack
  • Perform furniture and other surveys as requested.
  • Perform Ergonomic evaluations.
  • Installs the sit-to-stand units and other ergonomic requirements working with the PM.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Drive from warehouse to site and from site to site
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
  • Valid Driver License
