JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for repairing and maintaining the Mechanical and Electrical conditions of all facilities, machines, operational equipments and safety equipments by keeping a routine servicing schedule.
• Responsible for maintaining the conditions and safekeeping of tools and equipments required for maintenance / servicing.
• To troubleshoot, repair and maintain machines, operational and safety equipments.
• Responsible on install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioner.
• Conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures.
• Ensure that heating and plumbing systems perform at optimum functionality.
• Clean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors.
• Plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.
• To maintain records of maintenance activities and report to MD if any anomaly is detected.
• To ensure all required records are kept and maintained at all times.
• Work closely with Process Engineer, Production supervisors, Production Assistants, Technicians and QA team to ensure smooth running of machines and equipment during day-to-day operation.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness at workplace is kept and maintained at all times.
• To ensure compliance with environment and OH&S requirements in production.
• To follow waste and chemical management procedure and practice proper waste disposal.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a ‘O’ Level, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering,Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• At least 3 – 5 years experience in manufacturing industry.
• Preferably with experience in Plastic Injection Moulding industry.
• Innovative with troubleshooting abilities.
• Well-organised and proactive.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Able to understand and interpret requirements of IMS.
• Competent in identifying Aspects and Impacts.
• Knowledge of ISO standards.
• Attended Scheduled Waste Handling training and proficient to train others.
• Attended Safety, Health and Emergency Preparedness (SHE) training and proficient to train others.
• Understand Chemical Handling procedure.
