About the Company
Our client is a boutique project home and granny flat builder based in Sydney’s West operating for over 10 + years in the residential construction industry. Building over 150 homes with a niche focus on house and land, greenfield builds and granny flats, they are rapidly growing their business and are currently one of the most competitive greenfield builders in the market.
Building primarily in the Northwest, Southwest and Western Sydney market, our client is looking to expand their construction team and bring on an experience Maintenance Technician to oversee and manage the 90-day maintenance and warranty repairs.
About the Role
This is an active “hands on” role where you be required to carry out any minor repairs and maintenance covered under the 90-day warranty period.

Duties will include:

• Assess any maintenance requests and carry out site walk-throughs during the 90-day warranty period
• Carrying out day to day, hands on maintenance repairs
• Arranging and liaising with specialist trades for maintenance repairs (tiling, gyprocking, plumbing, electrical, joinery etc.)
• Manage and oversee specialist trade repairs as required
• Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out to a high quality
• Maintain relationships with trades and suppliers
• General carpentry work on the tools may be required for builds currently in construction from time to time

What You Need

• Certificate III in Carpentry (essential)
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction is preferable
• Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a similar role carrying out maintenance and minor repairs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detailed oriented with a strong understanding of the NCC & BCA
• Current drivers license
