Description:

The successful applicant will have recognized apprenticeship and hold a City & Guilds Certificate or equivalent NVQ qualifications. The post holder will be required to undertake rostered overtime. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trusts policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately. There will be a requirement to work overtime; both rostered and ad-hoc; at short notice as required to meet the needs of the Trust and its healthcare environment.
There will also be a need to form part of the on-call response team to assist our out of hours staff where required. Job Summary The postholder will be employed on plumbing maintenance work appropriate to their core skills throughout Stockport NHS Foundation Trust premises comprising mainly Stepping Hill Hospital and Devonshire Unit.

If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £21.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13
