The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Repairing and troubleshooting electro/mechanical equipment failures
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.
- Work proactively to ensure performance targets are met
- Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices & Good Documentation Practices are followed.
- Support Engineering projects and lead actions assigned to maintenance group
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Cert./Diploma/Senior Trades in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- 3- 5years experience in a similar technical role within the medical device or similar industry with an established track record.
- Mechanical experience within an automated manufacturing environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Working knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
- Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of technical ability.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Teamwork abilities.
Work location:
Onsite: Athlone, Ireland
Remuneration:
Salary - €high-reaching dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package.
Shift Allowance – 22% (12-hour x 3 cycle shift patterns 7am-7pm/7pm-7am)
Working pattern - days only - 8.30 – 17.30 Monday – Thursday & 8.30-13.30 Friday
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
