QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5th class Power Engineer certificate recognized by the Province of Alberta.
- Two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and training.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general facility repairs.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Grade 10 with four years of recent, related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Maintenance Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in our healthcare setting. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Clinical Operations, you’ll operate, maintain, and repair various equipment including autoclaves, washers, sterilizers, and more. From preventative maintenance to emergency repairs, you’ll ensure our facilities run smoothly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mechanical aptitude across various trades.
- Maintenance and repair of equipment like autoclaves, washers, sterilizers, dryers, and steam kettles.
- Overseeing steam-piping systems and related components.
- Chemical treatment systems monitoring and adjustment.
- Boiler system analysis.
- HVAC system maintenance and inspections.
- Facility safety inspections and repairs.
- Ensuring exceptional service and professionalism at all times.
