Description:
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive experience in forklift or MHE industry is desirable
- Formal qualification in sales/marketing or commerce
- Extensive experience in a similar role (4-5 years)
- Extensive experience in driving sales growth through building customer base
- Proven ability in sales & account management
- Management experience with exposure to business plans
- Strong computer & presentation skills
- Superior communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is based at Toyota Material Handling’s Sydney Branch located in Moorebank.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager - Major Accounts this position will focus primarily on the development and maintenance of relationships with Major Account customers and the development of new business.
One of the main KPIs will be to drive customer account growth while at the same time understanding major customer needs to drive sales for TMHA Sydney.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and grow major account portfolio for branch inline with business strategy
- Aggressively pursue new business opportunities
- Analyse sales and market trends and potential and prepare sales forecasts
- Promote good relations and maintain regular contact with major account customers
- Measure performance against agreed objectives
- Prepare special and regular sales reports for management
- Monitor new product launches, promotion, advertising and merchandising activities, meetings and presentations
- Supervise and facilitate tender process and agreements with customers in compliance with TMHA procedures
- Implement the sales plan for particular brands of TICO materials handling product based on market analysis, research and marketing indicators
- Control expenses against budgets.
